She had finally done it. She had trapped the sun…
The wind blew up above like a hurricane ripping apart the once peaceful sky for a dark thunder. looking down on the small forest, the clouds were amused by there destruction. With a small blow they had managed to flip the innocent forest life in all directions. The trees grasped there last source of sunlight, sucking it up like a vacuum cleaner. glistening for a moment the forest was beautiful not long before the sun was pulled away. Beyond the forest, snow covers the empty ground like a white blanket. The silence echoed in the nothingness magnifying the sound of crunching footsteps in the distance. A young girl stomped along, dragging a long rope behind her. Her body was tensed, aching from the strain of moving forward and her face was as red as the sun. Her long legs made large strides using all her might to move the rope. Each step she made the rope groaned as it was stretched to double the size as when she began.
The small loop around her hand tightened as the sun fought back. she must keep going but the Throbbing of pain was deafening and she needed a break. She stops. The snow compressed and graciously took her weight. With in a second she was cuddled up in a tight ball with tears pouring down her cheeks. With the sun shining at the end of the rope, pulling against her, she let out a yell.
