Once we get round the corner i spot the end, safety. I groan with every step, forcing myself to move forward. My vision blurred with tears, I looked down at the faded white lines on the road. I focus on the lines trying to direct my body along them. But I cant take much longer, my legs give way and my hold bodies crumbles to the ground. Relief covers me as I let the broken ground take my weight.
She turns her body around the corner searching for safety. Letting out a small groan she moves slowly, steadily, step by step. Her eyes are making waterfalls of tears blurring her vision. The white lines lead her shaky body down the road. As she closes to the end, her body gives way beneath her. Like a brick she falls to the ground allowing her worn body to be supported by the dense ground.
